Technology Development Fund

Southwest Initiative Foundation provided loan funding to Feedlogic Corp. in Willmar, Minn.

 

Assists businesses in the development or expansion of products and technologies to create investment quality opportunities and foster longterm economic growth in southwest Minnesota.

 

Equity or equity-like funds are available to existing or potential
manufacturers, processors and related businesses that are
developing or expanding a new product or technology that has
potential for growth and product uniqueness, as well as the
potential for profits.


Funds may be used for market research and expansion,
product development or improvement, tooling and

process-related equipment, working capital, capital expenditures and organizational development.


The applicant’s prior business experience, financial and personal commitment and ability to bring the product to market will be considered.


The funding amount typically ranges from $5,000 to $50,000 and a one-to-one financial match is required.


Repayment schedule will be based on the project and amount of funding received.

Applicants should complete a loan application.
