Step Up Your Business

A business support network for existing business owners

SWIF is currently restructuring the Step Up Your Business program.

Step Up Your Business pilot communities and participants found great value in this program and appreciated the benefits it provided for entrepreneurs to gather and learn in a safe environment. Facilitators were very impressed with the dedication of the participants and recognized that the program could be even more beneficial to them. SWIF is looking at a new format and structure that will allow us to connect with more business owners, deliver new material and become more industry specific, all of which will allow for deeper, more meaningful discussions and results.

Step Up Your Business will be restructured by dividing SWIF’s 18-county region into three areas with one Step Up Your Business group in each area. We will meet less often in person, be more industry focused and utilize online tools. We believe this will position the program to deliver the best, most up-to-date information to entrepreneurs in our region.

The restructured program will be launched with a one-day event in each area. Please watch for more information about the specific dates, times and locations of our restructured program. In the meantime, please contact SWIF Program Specialist Jackie Turner-Lovsness for more information at 800-594-9480.

Step Up Your Business is sponsored by SWIF, in partnership with Chambers of Commerce, the Minnesota Workforce Center, Ridgewater College, Minnesota West Community and Technical College, and the Small Business Development Center.
