FTE Position: Senior Major and Planned Gifts Officer

Position Overview

The Senior Major and Planned Gifts Officer is responsible for identifying, engaging, soliciting, and stewarding prospective donors for major and planned gifts to ensure a strong base of support for Southwest Initiative Foundation through growth in the unrestricted endowment, mission-driven field of interest endowments, donor-advised funds, and legacy gifts of all types.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field with 8+ years experience developing tailored approaches and meaningful relationships that led to successful partnerships. A strong sales background as well as specific fundraising and planned giving experience will be considered.

FTE Position:  Data and Information Specialist

Position Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional data processing, constituent management, and quality control in Pearl, our Microsoft Access based database system. We seek someone who is passionate about databases and enjoys the logic and problem solving that comes with mapping and working with raw data. The position also assists in implementing the overall goals and strategies of SWIF.

Education/Experience Requirements

Associate of Applied Science degree and three years professional experience with database software and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Word. Prior customer service experience a plus. The ideal candidate will be personable, motivated, flexible under pressure, and highly organized. Accuracy and attention to detail are core skills as are critical thinking and problem solving abilities. Must have experience in developing, directing and managing multiple projects. Requires good overall communication skills, both verbal and written. Integrity and confidentially are essential.
